To begin my creative process I wanted to create a mind map that has lots of potential ideas and allowed me to plan out my work. I researched the artist Addy Debil and found their work to be fun and creative. It was very chaotic with a wide range of simple designs compacted together. I then created a series of sketches to figure out which direction i would want to go in when creating my final logo. When i had an idea in mind i first drew it out and took pictures at each stage to document my progress. This would be first the outline, then the colour and finally the details. I added thin swirls to my design as it gives a similar look to the YANA fest design. I then created a digital version of my logo and also created a festival poster to display the times and artists performing. I wanted to keep the design to a minimum when it was near the text. This is so then the words would easily be read and wouldn't clash together. i used pastel colours as they aren't harsh colours and the pastel yellow background gives a happy and bright feel to the design.
